Accommodation Agreement

Article 1: Application of This Agreement

1.

Accommodation contracts and related contracts concluded by our hotel shall be governed by the provisions of this Agreement. Matters not provided for in this Agreement shall be governed by laws, regulations, or customs.

2.

Notwithstanding the provisions of the preceding paragraph, our hotel may accept special arrangements to the extent that they do not conflict with the spirit of this Agreement, laws, regulations, or customs.

Article 2: Refusal of Accommodation

Our hotel may refuse accommodation in the following cases.

1.

When the application for accommodation does not conform to this Agreement.

2.

When rooms are fully occupied and no vacancies are available.

3.

When a prospective guest is deemed likely to commit acts that violate laws, regulations, public order, or good morals in connection with the accommodation.

4.

When a prospective guest is clearly identified as having a communicable disease.

5.

When special burdens are demanded in connection with the accommodation.

6.

When accommodation cannot be provided due to natural disasters, facility malfunctions, or other unavoidable reasons.

7.

When the case falls under the provisions of Article 5 of the Kagoshima Prefectural Ordinance.

Article 3: Disclosure of Name and Other Information

When our hotel accepts an application for accommodation prior to the date of stay (hereinafter referred to as "reservation application"), we may request disclosure of the following information within a specified period.

1.

Name, gender, nationality, and occupation of the guest

2.

Other matters deemed necessary by our hotel

Article 4: Reservation Deposit

1.

When our hotel accepts a reservation application, we may request payment of a reservation deposit, up to the amount of the accommodation charges for the stay period (limited to 3 days if the stay exceeds 3 days), within a specified period.

2.

The reservation deposit referred to in the preceding paragraph shall be applied to the cancellation fee as provided in the following article when applicable, and any remaining balance shall be refunded.

Article 5: Cancellation of Reservations

1.

When the applicant cancels all or part of the reservation, a cancellation fee shall be charged in accordance with the Cancellation Fee Schedule. However, in the case of group guests (defined as a paying group of 15 or more persons; the same shall apply hereinafter) when a partial cancellation is made, this shall not apply to a number of persons equivalent to 10% (rounded up) of the reserved number as of 10 days prior to the accommodation date (or as of the date the reservation was accepted if accepted after that date).

2.

Our hotel may treat the reservation as cancelled by the applicant if the guest fails to arrive or make contact by 8:00 PM on the accommodation date (or 2 hours after the stated estimated arrival time, if one was provided in advance).

3.

In cases where the reservation is deemed cancelled pursuant to the preceding paragraph, the cancellation fee under Paragraph 1 shall not be charged if the guest proves that the failure to arrive or make contact was due to reasons beyond their control, such as delays or non-arrival of public transportation including trains and aircraft.

Article 6

Except as otherwise provided, our hotel may cancel reservations in the following cases.

1.

When the case falls under Article 2, Items 3 through 7.

2.

When the information specified in Article 3, Item 1 is not disclosed within the specified period upon request.

3.

When the reservation deposit requested under Article 4, Item 1 is not paid within the specified period.

When our hotel cancels a reservation pursuant to the preceding paragraph, any reservation deposit already received for that reservation shall be refunded.

Article 7: Guest Registration

Guests are required to register the following information at our hotel's front office on the day of stay.

1.

The information specified in Article 3, Item 1.

2.

For foreign nationals: passport number, port of entry in Japan, and date of entry

3.

Date and time of departure

4.

Other matters deemed necessary by our hotel

Article 8: Check-out Time

The time by which guests must vacate their rooms (check-out time) is 11:00 AM.

Article 9: Payment of Charges

Payment of charges shall be made in cash at the hotel's front office.

1.

If a guest voluntarily chooses not to stay after beginning use of the room, the accommodation charges shall still be collected.

Article 10: Compliance with House Rules

Guests shall comply with the house rules established and posted by our hotel within the premises.

Article 11: Refusal to Continue Accommodation

Our hotel may refuse to continue accommodation during the accepted stay period in the following cases.

1.

When the case falls under Article 2, Items 3 through 7.

2.

When the guest fails to comply with the house rules specified in the preceding article.

Article 12: Accommodation Liability

1.

Our hotel's liability for accommodation begins when the guest completes registration at the front office or enters the guest room, whichever comes first, and ends when the guest vacates the room upon departure.

2.

When our hotel is unable to provide a room on the accommodation date due to reasons attributable to us, we will, except when this is difficult due to natural disasters or other reasons, arrange alternative accommodation under the same or similar conditions. In such cases, the accommodation charges from the date the room could no longer be provided, including that day's charges, shall not be collected.

Cancellation Fee Schedule

1.

Individual guests

イ.

If cancelled the day before the accommodation date: 20% of the accommodation charge for the first day per guest.

ロ.

If cancelled on the accommodation date: 80% of the accommodation charge for the first day per guest.

2.

Group guests

イ.

If cancelled between 9 days and 2 days before the accommodation date: 10% of the accommodation charge for the first day per guest.

ロ.

If cancelled the day before the accommodation date: 20% of the accommodation charge for the first day per guest.

ハ.

If cancelled on the accommodation date: 80% of the accommodation charge for the first day per guest.
